I was born to Belgian parents who traveled extensively around the world, and who collected many works of art. Within the walls of my home, I was influenced by books and paintings that came from Africa, the Middle East and Haiti. My early memories of wanting to be an artist stemmed from observing the colors in these paintings.
I now have settled in San Francisco and continue to paint with an emphasis on colors and how they relate.
